Ghorautara River Barisal A river of Kishoreganj district in the north-eastern region is 33 kilometers long, the average width is 439 meters and the nature of the river is purple. The name of the Ghorautala river provided by Bangladesh Water Development Board or “Paubo” is the number of northeast river No.66.
Ghorautala river originated from Mithamain upazila of Kishoreganj district after southmukh. Meghna and Kallini Sangam of Bajitpur upazila of this district merged from Mithamain and it has flown on the eastern side of the Nikila upazila city.
