Dhanu River is a river in Bangladesh’s northeast Sunamganj, Netrokona and Kishoreganj districts. The length of the river is 90 km, the average width is 228 meters, and the nature of the river is called Arpilakara. Dhanu river is produced from the Balu river or Balu river flowing in Jamalganj upazila of Sunamganj district and the Mehedi river of Beidhpur district of Beidhipur district is mixed. The flow of the river is Mohanganj, Khaliajuri, Itana, Mitramain, Ashtagram, Nikli, Bajitpur, Bhairab and Kuliarchar upazilas. The notable city of the river is KhaliyaJuri, Itna, Mithamain.
