Zillur Rahman was born in Bhairab of Kishoreganj district. His father Mehr Ali Miah was a lawyer, then the Chairman of the Local Board of Mymensingh and the District Board Member. His wife Ivy Rahman also is a politician of Bangladesh Awami League, on 21 August 2004, a grenade attack on the Awami League rally at the Bangabandhu Avenue of the capital Dhaka, Zillur Rahman lost her brother-in-law and the woman’s Awami League president Ivy Rahman. He is the current Member of Parliament and current President of the Bangladesh Cricket Board Nazmul Hassan Papan and the father of two daughters named Tania and Mayna.
Education life

Her primary education began in Bhairab Adarsha Primary School, next to her house. He was passed from here in 1941 to Bhairab K.B. Pilot Model High School. Political life

After assuming the caretaker government on January 11, 2006, Sheikh Hasina was arrested and since then the Zillur Rahman Bangladesh Awami League’s hartal was celebrated.
Bangladesh President

In the 2008 parliamentary elections, the 14-party alliance led by Sheikh Hasina won by a huge margin. Ninth National Parliament Zillur Rahman was elected Deputy Leader of the Parliament. Later, Bangladesh Awami League nominated him as a candidate for the presidential election. He was elected as the 19th President of Bangladesh in the 2009 election without any contest and took oath of taking oath on February 12, 2009. Zillur Rahman was admitted to Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore on March 10, 2013 due to kidney and urinary problems for better treatment.
