Dwij bhankidas is one of the poets of the medieval Bengali monastic community. He was born in Patuari village of Kishoreganj. Father Yaadaband was a Gayan and daughter of Chandrabati was a poet. Chandravati Ramayana has composed. Banshidas was a scholar of Sanskrit, Purana, Agama and Tantari.
