Osman Farooq, a well-respected family of Kishoreganj, was born on July 18, 1940. His father is a proud child, educationist and former vice-chancellor of Dhaka University. Muhammad Osman Gani Dr. M. Osman Farooq’s ancestral home was in the village of Gujadia under Karimganj thana of Kishoreganj district.
Renowned scientist born father is Bangladesh. Muhammad Osman Gani Mum Begum Shamsun Nahar Gani, she was a housewife and lived a simple life.

Dr. M. Osman Faruq went to USA (USAID) Folowship Program in 1963. In 1964, MS USA-Texas A & M University in Agricultural Economics. The world famous lvy league school, the comell University Ithaca, New York- With regard to PhDs in Economics (with Specialization in Agricultural Marketing and in International Development) Osman Faruq joined the Bangladesh Agricultural University in 1970 as an Associate Professor at the Department of Co-operation and Marketing.
He became involved in the ideology of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and joined Bangladesh Nationalist Party in 2001 in the direction of Begum Khaleda Zia. Participating in the Jatiya Sangsad elections in 2001 with the nomination of the party and elected MPs elected. The new government led by the nationalist party. M Osman Faruq was appointed by the Education Minister of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
